Outside reading blog post

I wonder how Daniel got on this planet. So far it has talked about him being an alien. I haven't found out what planet he came from. I want to know how he got here from his home planet. It confuses me but it also makes me want to read more to find out.

If I were Daniel things would be a lot different. He is extremely brave and outgoing. If it were me I'm not sure how brave I would be. He jumps right into things for the greater good. I might just be worried about me more than the rest of the world.

I realized how insane this book was by page one. It starts out with Daniel being a three year old that talks way past his age. His vocabulary is advance for any human. He also can build amazing structures out of play-doh. So he obviously ins't any normal person.

The intended audience is most likely all teenagers. You can tell this from the authors word choice. He tries to use words that teenagers connect with and recognize. Content is also another way you can tell. The author puts in situations that teenagers and young adults can connect with.

The central issues are Daniel having to defeat Seth and him having to find out his origins. Seth is an evil alien trying to take over the earth. He has already destroyed other planets before and he enslaves human children. Daniel also has to find out his origins. He doesn't know exactly where he came from. He's not even sure about what his powers are yet. Daniel is trying to discover what his limits are and how strong he is.

Riddle Poem

To our dismay,
to your dismay,
to my dismay,

eating at thoughts,
holes through the walls,
its on the dome,
wont wash off,

breathing speeds,
heart races,
thoughts deepen, dampen
to hard to hinder or control,

focus is shattered,
the walls build up,
they grow so high,
then they break back down,
to there start, there birth from dismay.

Dear Mom and Dad,

Beaches, forests, camping, the outdoors! We should move to California. This would be much more fun than Kansas. Think about all the good things that could happen. We should move to California because Kansas is so boring, and there is tons of great scenery in California.
There are some advantages and disadvantages to moving there. There could be more life changing situations there, but this would introduce the real world to me.  If Dad couldn’t find a job we could all get smaller jobs. This would only be temporary until he can find a long term job.
Kansas isn’t very fun and gets boring pretty easily. The big cities in California would give us lots of opportunities for entertainment. We could do things like go to the cities and see sports games.  With all these things to do how could we get bored? The city just gives us so many opportunities to enjoy. I think this could make the next few years much more enjoyable. All this would be make me so happy.
A huge reason is the scenery there. The beaches would be so fun to visit. While at the beaches we could swim. If we didn’t want to swim then we could just play on the beach. There is also all the forest areas in the north. We could go camp there for our vacations. This would be a great way to spend our time.
There are plenty of things that California has to offer. This could keep us away from the boredom of Kansas, and let us see great scenery.  These are the reasons why we should move away from Kansas to California.

Sincerely,

Nate Lewis
