I wonder how Daniel got on this planet. So far it has talked about him being an alien. I haven't found out what planet he came from. I want to know how he got here from his home planet. It confuses me but it also makes me want to read more to find out.
If I were Daniel things would be a lot different. He is extremely brave and outgoing. If it were me I'm not sure how brave I would be. He jumps right into things for the greater good. I might just be worried about me more than the rest of the world.
I realized how insane this book was by page one. It starts out with Daniel being a three year old that talks way past his age. His vocabulary is advance for any human. He also can build amazing structures out of play-doh. So he obviously ins't any normal person.
The intended audience is most likely all teenagers. You can tell this from the authors word choice. He tries to use words that teenagers connect with and recognize. Content is also another way you can tell. The author puts in situations that teenagers and young adults can connect with.
The central issues are Daniel having to defeat Seth and him having to find out his origins. Seth is an evil alien trying to take over the earth. He has already destroyed other planets before and he enslaves human children. Daniel also has to find out his origins. He doesn't know exactly where he came from. He's not even sure about what his powers are yet. Daniel is trying to discover what his limits are and how strong he is.
